The redesigned GFW-MIC-0822 provides a heavier, more stable base for supporting larger mics, following the success of the GFW-MIC-0821. The stand's low-profile range and weighted base offer the ideal solution for desktop recording scenarios, such as podcasts, broadcasts, and quick vocals, as well as floor applications for miking kick/bass drums, guitar/bass amplifier cabinets, tops and bottoms of snare drums, and keyboard amplifier speaker enclosures, among many others. At full extension, the GFW-MIC-0822 can hold up to 1.5lbs, and it comes equipped with a 2.5lbs counterweight to offset heavier mic loads.

The compact base helps to reduce the stand footprint in tight-space situations, both in the studio and on stage. The GFW-MIC-0822 includes a 27" telescoping boom arm, twist clutch height and angle adjustment, a clip for cable management, and a no-slip, vibration-reducing gasket underneath the base. This Frameworks telescoping boom mic stand is designed for bass drums, guitar amps, and desktop recording, with length and angle independently adjustable and cable management included.

The stand's heavy-duty steel construction with a black powder coat finish and a 10 lbs. base ensures durability and stability. The boom arm can hold up to a 1.5 lbs mic at full extension, thanks to the 2.5 lbs. counterweight. The telescopic boom arm extends to a maximum of 27" (685mm), making it compatible with most popular podcast mics, including the Shure SM7B, Shure MV7, RODE Procaster, and RODE PodMic models.
